Remember in the movie Jurassic Park when Guttenberg makes the comment "Just because we could, didn't anyone ever stop to think if we should? Here are 2 news items that fall squarely within the context of that movie line IMHO. I think it's a little too close to "playing God" in both instances:

I am not a "bible thumper" and don't believe in any organized religion per se, but these 2 stories make me think mankind is trying to do things we shouldn't be trying...

Homosexuality isn't something practiced exclusively by people, animals do it too. I have long held it to be a natural form of birth control, and as such nothing inherently "wrong" or "unnatural" about it.
